In a Day
When the quiet blankets the morning bustle I chase the pockets of pouring sunlight onto the ambling road.
The light waltzes with the shadows It's a light that holds a tinge of green
as it whispers through the canopy of leaves.
It flows between the sky the trees and reaches to me in its own camouflaged way, adopting the colors it touches.
Temporality is immutably expressed almost paradoxically through the ephemerality of the undulating colors never a moment the same.
And through it I am reminded of the ironclad rule of no going back to moments that passed to moments I yearn frozen as I am urged forward by the current of time.
I reflect my limitations holding for a transcendental peace to settle in my footsteps.
